I'm a wiss. Mitarbeiter at ETH Zurich. I was a postdoc at UC Berkeley, hosted by Professor Kameshwar Poolla and Professor Pravin Varaiya. Before joining UC Berkeley, I was a post doctoral researcher at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, CMU, hosted by  Professor Gaberila Hug and Professor Soummya Kar. I was a member of the Electric Energy System Group (EESG) at CMU.

I received my Ph.D. from the Institute for Interdisciplinary Information Sciences (IIIS), Tsinghua University, in July 2013. My Ph.D. advisor was Professor Andrew Yao, the laureate of A.M. Turing Award in the year of 2000. In July 2009, I obtained my B.S. from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University.

I am going to join my home institute, IIIS Tsinghua University, in Dec, 2016. I am actively looking for highly motivated, talented PhD students. If you are interested in joining my group, feel free to drop me an email.

Currently, I am working on Economic Analysis, Optimal Control and Operation of Power Systems. For more information, please refer to my research section here.
